My Philosophy on Education
I think all educators should use everything within his or her power to release well-educated and productive students into the society. In my opinion, each grade level of schooling should assure the student is well prepared for the next. An educator who is teaching the ninth grade should not have to use time teaching information that should have been taught in a lower level. When students graduate from high school they should have not problems starting college. Students should be tested on each grade level in order to determine what is needed to help them reach their full potential. All teachers should be considered “highly qualified’ before entering the classroom. Teacher’s education should also continue until they retire because learning is a lifelong process, and in order to teach any subject one should be up-to-date on new findings and information on that particular subject. After all, our students today will be the leaders of tomorrow; therefore educators should make sure that our future leaders are prepared for the road ahead.
