The teacher is referred to the digital native and the student is referred to as the digital immigrant. The native/immigrant analogy can help us understand the differences between those who are comfortable with technology and those who are not; however. Most digital immigrants would implement technology by researching new technology. This is an ever changing world and new technology is being introduced on a regular basis.
